SHAPING SURROUNDINGS
Beginning my design journey, my search for beauty has led me to a more personal form of storytelling. The feeling of coming into close contact with beautiful things is a profound informative experience. I draw inspiration from a wide range of subjects and things. My eye for style and aesthetics is informed by an inflow of rich inspiration, often rooted in art and design, as well as destinations and experiences brimming with style and culture.

During Budapest Design Week 2017, Solinfo partnered in a showroom with the Hungarian multidisciplinary brand Studio Nomad, representing the best Danish design brands, displaying a selection from the collections of such premium design brands as Hay, &tradition, Normann Copenhagen, Montana, Gubi, and House Doctor. These iconic, modern, and utilitarian objects were presented in the shared, raw industrial space.

The deluxe booth design aims to highlight the premium brands the design showroom in Budapest carries. The interiors created in collaboration with the exhibitors are far more than the traditional expo booth design. At the Fair, partners have an opportunity to display their collections in an inspiring context, with the help of experienced interior designers, who make sure the design is flawless, the character timeless, and the impression unique. These lavishly decorated spaces bring the newest interior design trends and innovative movements to the audience.
Molteni C and Vitra booth design
What made these design fair installations special was that they did not need to meet specific expectations or a designated function, instead serving as a live moodboard to highlight the essence of the style on display. We aimed to give an impression, a summary of the colors, textures, shapes and elements denoting the given style description. As art director, I chose the styles, created the mood boards and defined the characters in each installation in cooperation with the designers, to give a progressive denotation of these trends.

Design Fair design strategy
The compilation of the concept of the unrealized S/ALON BUDAPEST exhibition in 2020 was built on a cohesive element that had to meet many different aspects. The development of the system affects every detail of the exhibition and serves as a response to different situations during the preparation phase.

Marc Ange’s ‘An Extraordinary World’ exhibition was one of the highlights of the 2019 S/ALON BUDAPEST Fair. The unique collection by the French-Italian artist debuted at Milan Design Week in 2019, making its second appearance in Budapest. The entrancing interior featured pieces of furniture that were inspired by his childhood fears and nightmares, as well as more recent experiences of the artist.

Two entrance installations welcomed visitors at the S/ALON BUDAPEST Lakástrend Exhibitions - Supercolor Delicates and The entrancing shapes of Marc Ange. Boldly inspiring, detailed, vibrant and fresh concepts, with rhymes and contemporary modern elements that play with the proportions of colours, shapes and textures. They present spectacular visions that either form a composition or convey a kind of abstract representation of reality, inspiring the audience, introducing them to the world of the exhibition's one-floor showroom.
